What an Artist :o)

This art work is from my nephew Zachary. He painted this picture just for me, but instead of it going on the refrigerator like all of his other art work. He requested that this work of art go into his scrapbook. Can you believe that?!?! My heart just melted, first of all I hadn't shown him his scrapbook in a long time it has been a year or more. So, not only did he remember after all this time that he had one, but he also wanted to put something he made in it. He was so proud of this painting and I was too. Look how well he colored in the lines. Like I said my heart just melted. Now, you may wonder why he panting over everything with blue, well he said he did that just for me. I can't wait to show him his page. I hope he approves!

Oh, and the crayons were given to me by a friend. I don't know where she purchased them, but I think she said they were supposed to be lunch bag note cards. I just cut them in half and placed them around the page. With the shape of his picture it was hard to put anything else on the page. So, it worked out great she gave them to me...Thanks Shannon!! :o)

Thanks for stopping by! Now ya'll come back now ya hear!

Two of a Kind

It sure has been a while hasn't it. I can't believe it took me this long to post what I have been working on. This summer has started off very busy for me, but soon it will slow down a bit. One things for sure I always make time for crafting. :o)

Today I have two different cards, using the same stamp set and colors. The top picture is my favorite. The stamp set used is from Stampin Up called Kind & Caring Thoughts it is a level three hostess set. I used my new Stampin Up markers that I must say I am in LOVE with, is that possible?!?! I am so glad that I made the investment because they are the best markers for your stamps! I used the following colors for the stamped images on both cards (Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Lovely Lilac, and Old Olive). The base for both cards is Chocolate Chip and the background paper is Pretty in Pink. On the card above I stamped the image on Vanilla cardstock and cut out a Top Note design with my Cricut using the Storybook cartridge. I used Prima Roses and brads from Michaels. I also sprayed the card with my homemade glimmer mist using Stampin Up shimmer paint and alcohol.
Now for the second card I used my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder to emboss the Pretty in Pink paper. I cut the flower stamped image with my Creative Memories cutting system using the oval shape. The ribbon is from Michaels. The sentiment is stamped on Lovely Lilac paper using Chocolate Chip ink. I rounded the corners of the sentiment using my Corner Chomper. I also used my glitter pen from Archivers to color over the Lovely Lilac flowers on the stamped image. I also sprayed my homemade glimmer mist on the sentiment image.
So that's it what did you think? Thank you stopping by my blog and as always comments are appreciated.

Thank you berry much

I love this card! It is one of my favorites, but I can not take all the credit for the idea! Every since I saw this post Here I knew I had to make this card.

I used the same paper pack listed on the blog. I did use a different cartridge because I do not own Preserves. The cartridge I used is Hello Kitty and surprisingly I have used that cartridge more that I thought I would. I really like the images they are so cute! The sentiment I used is also different. I used Green Thumb from Papertrey Ink. I highly recommend this stamp set. I have used it with three of my cards and it fits perfectly. I also used Making Memory trim that I purchased at Tuesday Morning.

I hope you like my spin on their idea. I wanted to take the time to let my new followers and my new visitors know that I really appreciate your support! It means the world to me that you took the time to check out my work. :o)

When Life Gives You Lemons....

Hello again,

Here is a quick card I made for a friend. The word art says When Life Gives you Lemons Make Lemonade. I added the word pink for pink lemonade because pink lemonade is always better :o)

The base of the card is a standard A2 size. I used Bashful Blue cardstock from Stampin Up as the base. The patten paper is from K&Company. The ribbon is random and I used the Bow-Easy to make the bow. I saw a post a few months ago on a blog I follow (Just A Scrappin) on how to cut one using a Cricut. Well, I decided to just buy one on Ebay Click Here for the listing.

Thanks for visiting!

Too Much of a Good Thing is a Good Thing

Hello again! Here is a card I made last week and wasn't sure if it was ready to post yet. It felt like something was missing. After looking at it a few times I thought no it looks good.

For this card I used a new stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I love these stamps they are so cute. I used my watercolor crayons to color her in. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up and the ribbon border is from Hobby Lobby. The background paper is from a K & Company stack and the card base is from PTI.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm not sure I will be posting anymore this week because I am getting a cold and really don't feel up to crafting...say it ain't so :o)!

Altered ATG Stand

Hi everyone! So you know I altered my ATG gun a month or so ago and I have loved it every since. I don't know what I did without my ATG...can you feel the love? LOL
So, while doing my daily blog hop I came across a YouTube video from TERIBERI2 it was of her scrapbooking space. While she was showing her room she showed her ATG Stand and were she purchased it. So, I thought what a cool idea! I went to the link she had on her video by clicking Here. I then started looking at pictures of others who have purchased one and altered it for inspiration. I came across a picture of one that I thought was SOOO cute. I altered mine from her inspiration to see the picture of my inspiration click on this link Here
