Get on the Panda Wagon

For of those of you that know me well, know I love pandas, daisy's, and the color purple. So that is why my blog is called purple daisy crafts. Now you're wondering why I left out panda from my blog name. Well it's simple it would have been too long...lol.

Now to the card. The base is from PTI the color is called Plum Pudding. The background paper is from K & Company sorry I don't remember the name of the stack. I cut the Panda at 3 from the Cricut Cartridge Create a Critter which is now my favorite cart. The images are sooo cute!! You will see more cards from that cart. ;o) I used Stickles in green to accent the flower. I also used Liquid Pearls in white to add a special touch. I love my Liquid Pearls!! I also added a purple fabric brad from Hobby Lobby in the middle of flower. The stamp set is from Cleardollarstamps.com its called Critter Messages and it goes perfect with this cart and I totally recommend it. Thanks for the tip Joy at Everyday Cricut! :o)

I hope you enjoy my card and thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone!
I look at this post and all I can think is I wish you could see the finished page with the pictures. I am always torn about posting scrapbook pages because I feel they are not complete without pictures. Most of the time the pictures have a lot to do with the page. That does not mean that I will give in and show my two handsome nephews pictures. It just means that I feel that my followers are missing out. I also feel like I don't want my blog to be filled with cards either so I digress and post a layout.
Now on with the layout, the Cricut Cartridge used was Robotz. This is an AWESOME cartridge for boys!! I highly recommend it if you have boys! The font is perfect and the Robotz are too cute! I was so excited when this cartridge came out it fit the background page perfectly. Which before this cartridge came out, I had no idea what to do with these pages. The background is from a DCWV All About Boys stack. The plain cardstock is random and I inked the edges of the picture mats with Colorbox Cat Eye Chalk ink in Black. Also, something you don't see in the picture is a black corduroy brad I put in the top corner of the slanted picture to make it seem the brad was holding it up. Another touch that is not shown in the picture is a stamp saying Cool Dude that was stamped in the center of the white box on the Robot.
I hope you like my layout and thanks for stopping by!

Bridal Shower Card

Hi everyone!

This is a card I made a while back for a bridal shower. I had to wait until I gave it to her before posting it, just in case she visits my blog. I hope you enjoy!

So this is my first bridal shower card. What do you think? I think it turned out cute. I didn't know at the time what her colors are going to be so I just went with pink and red you can never go wrong with that.

I cut the cake with my Cricut Cart Tie the Knot. The patten paper is from K & Company. The hearts where punched with a Stampin Up punch. I also used different pattern paper from the same collection to punch out the hearts. The stamp set is Mega Mixed Messages from Papertrey Ink. Best of all is the liquid pearls at the bottom. They are super cool!! I highly recommend them they are liquid and when you tap the card underneath them they spread out to look like pearls. I also used Stickles to add glitter to the cake icing.

I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Hi everyone,

This is a card I made for the My Pink Stamper Challenge. The challenge was to make something using the colors pink, black and green. I also had to include my favorite color purple. :o)

For the base I used Stampin Up cardstock Orchid Opulence. The blue card stock is random and I used a punch from Martha Stewart for the edge. The pattern paper is from K & Company. The caterpillar was cut from the Cricut cartridge Walk in my Garden is was cut at 2 in the blackout feature so that I could use a stamp for the face. The face stamp is from a Sizzix face stamp collection. The word Spring was cut at 3 using the Cricut cartridge Stretch your Imagination I used the shadow, layers and the shift spring. The flower was embossed with clear UTEE using two coats. The brad used in the center is from Hobby Lobby. I can't remember the brand name for the sentiment stamp.

I hope you enjoy the card and thanks for stopping by!

Flower Card

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was on vacation last weekend and my crafting schedule got off a bit. I'm back with a card I made for a friend. I was trying a new technique that I found in a crafting magazine. It was used on a scrapbook page in the magazine and I thought I can do that. It's not as easy as I thought it would be to make, but was worth the time and effort in the end.
I used ribbon found in the dollar spot at Target. I cut a circle using my new Martha Stewart Circle Cutter I found in AC Moore on clearance plus I got half off the clearance price so I guess you can say I got a deal! The button is random and I used DMC Floss to tie a bow I don't recall the color number. The pattern paper is from K&Company and the brads are from Doodlebug I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. The stamp is from PaperTrey Ink and the stem ribbon is from them as well the stamp set is called Green Thumb.

I hope you enjoy this post and thanks for stopping by!
