Simple Card

This is a very simple card I made for a very special friend. She invited me over for the best German food you could ever eat. It was so nice to be able to spend time with her again, since I don't get to see her that often.

The card was made believe it or not with paper I found at the Goodwill. By the looks of what they had someone gave up the hobby ((((GASP)))) and took what supplies they had to the Goodwill. You often wonder what happend that them to make them give up this hobby. I can understand though because I once did. The paper they gave up is awesome. The tag was cut from a set also found at the Goodwill as well as the vellum saying. So like I said SCORE!!

As always I hope you enjoy the card and I love comments!

Mmm Mmm Good!

You may be wondering why this post is titled Mmm Mmm Good! Well, because I made this card for the hostess of a delicious dinner. For those of you with a sweet tooth like me, her cheesecake was better that any I have eaten at The Cheesecake Factory. Yes, I just typed that, hard to believe it's true, but it is! So what where we talking about...oh yeah the card.

The ribbon is from the Dollar Tree that I purchased yesterday with my best friend. The flower was cut at three inches using the Cricut Cartridge Sweet Treats. The brad in the middle was made with my I-top brad maker using their largest size. The background paper and the brad paper came from a paper stack purchased at Tuesday Morning although I forget the brand.

I hope you enjoy and as always I love comments!

Couple of Cards

One of the websites I follow (http://www.mypinkstamper.com/) had a challenge to make a project using your favorite color with black. For those of you who know me, know that I love the color purple. So it should be no surprise I used that color for my project. I hope you enjoy!!

This card was made with a Cricut Cartridge that I haven't used in a while. So, when I was doing my daily blog browsing, I came across this website (http://www.cricutholiday.com/). They featured this heart cut in a way I hadn't thought of. I changed it up a bit and this is what I came up with. Hope you enjoy!
