Hang in There

Hello everyone!

So, do you remember how I teased you in my last post that I had a card in mind that I just had to make? Well, it took until Thursday at 9:00pm to get the time to make it. Also, another added bonus is the design team over at MPS issued a challenge to make a Animal type card. Don't you just love how everything comes together? This card is for a friend that needed a pick me up. She has been sick for a while so I thought I would make her a "Hang in There" type card. So, what could be better than a cute monkey just hanging around! ;o)

Now, to the card...The base is cardstock by Paper Trey Ink. The other colors are just random cardstock I had in my scraps bin. All of the cuts are from my favorite cartridge Create a Critter. I use it so much that I just keep it laying out on my desk. The trees were cut at 2 3/4 I also used the flip feature for the other side, the branch was cut at 3 1/2 and the monkey was cut at 3. The grass was cut free hand and the sentiment I just printed on my computer. I then punched it out with a new punch I got today at AC Moore. I highly recommend it because you can punch three different sizes of a tag at once.

So, I think that about covers it. Thanks for stopping by!

With Sympathy

Hi everyone!

Looks like it's going to be another busy weekend, but I didn't want to leave you without a little something. This is a card I made for a friend whom wife passed away. As you can tell it was very simple.

The base is Close to Cocoa by Stampin Up. The other colors used are Mellow Moss, Almost Amethyst and White by Stampin Up. The stamp is from Michael's look for it in their wooden stamp section. I love this stamp! I colored the image with Mellow Moss and Almost Amethyst markers. The sentiment stamp is from Paper Trey Ink called Mega Mixed Messages. I have used that stamp set many time and highly recommend it to any card maker.

I hope to have time this weekend to make another card that has been on my mind for days now. I can't wait to make it because in my head it is super cute. I just hope it turns out to be! Look for that card next week...

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You...

Hello Everyone,

Here is a quick card I made using Prima flowers. I love how the card turned out. It started out all different and I didn't like it. So I changed everything up and this is the result.

I used Prima flowers I found on clearance at Michael's. The base is from Paper Trey Ink. The background paper is from Stampin Up. I used a new stamp set I got from Rubbernecker Stamps for the circles, I love how it turned out. I also punched the bottom with my new Fiskers boarder punch. The Sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink as well. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Get Well Soon!

Hello everyone,

Sorry this has taken me so long to post. I made this card for a friend that was sick a few weeks ago. I would have posted this sooner, but I have been so busy. Now that it has been so long ago I made it I can't remember the size of the bear of the color of the base. So from now own I will make a list of what I use as I go. I know I used Create a Critter Cartridge for the bear. I know the ribbon is from The Dollar Store. The stamp set I used for the Get Well Soon is from Hobby Lobby. I love this set it has a ton of single words that you can stamp together for a sentiment. I also think the patten paper is from K&Company.

Hippooray!

Hello again!

This card is for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. She wanted us to make a card using Zooballoo Cricut Cartridge and I must admit this is the first time using this cartridge. I have owned it for a while now, but haven't found a reason to use it. I hope you enjoy, now to the card....

The base of the card is Brocade Blue by Stampin Up. The Hippo is cut at 3 3/4. The grass was cut at 5 1/4 using fit to length The clouds were cut at 2 (I think). The stamp used is from a stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps. The flower in her hair (because lets face it she needed something) is random and the brad is from Hobby Lobby.

Keep on Trunkin'

This is a card I made while I was in the mountains on vacation. I just love the images on Create a Critter they are so cute.

I used paper from my scraps to make this card so I do not have a list of the items used. The ears are made with DCWV glitter paper. You may not be able to tell from the photo, but it turned out cute.

As you can tell this is a very short post, but a cute one!

Sweet Baby

Hello everyone!

I hope you all have enjoyed your extended weekend as much as I have! I took a trip to the mountains of NC it was beautiful. The weather was wonderful it stayed in the low 80 the whole time. While I was gone I thought it would be fun to take some crafting supplies with me and sneak in a card or two. I have been wanting to participate in one of Emma's challenge since she started hosting them, but I could never find the time. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try and make something.

The card base is white from Paper Trey Ink. I inked the edges with chalk ink by Colorbox. I cut the bassinet using the New Arrival cartridge at 3. I used a Martha Stewart paper pad that I found at Walmart on clearance. The background paper is also from that pad. I used DCWV glitter paper for the trim pieces for the bassinet. The pink ribbon is random and the green flower trim if from Hobby Lobby.

Thanks Emma for hosting a challenge and for those of you who stopped by.
